General Questions

What is a virtual address?

A virtual address is a professional mailing address you can use for your business or personal mail. We receive your mail securely, and you decide whether to pick up, scan, forward, or shred it.

How is this different from a P.O. Box?

Unlike a P.O. Box, our address is a real street address that can receive mail and packages from all carriers (USPS, FedEx, UPS, Amazon).

Do I need a business to use this service?

No. We serve both individuals and businesses. Many use it for privacy or to separate personal and professional mail.

Setup & Requirements

What do I need to get started?

You’ll complete a USPS Form 1583 (required by law) and upload two forms of ID. This authorizes XpressBox Solutions to receive and handle your mail.

How long does setup take?

Once your form and IDs are submitted, your account is typically activated within 24 hours.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time.

Mail Handling

How will I know when I receive mail?

You’ll get an email notification every time something arrives.

Can you forward my mail?

Yes. We can forward mail anywhere in the U.S. or internationally. Forwarding fees may apply depending on shipping method.

Can you scan my mail?

Yes. Depending on your plan, we scan envelopes or full documents so you can view them digitally.

Do you accept packages?

Yes, we accept packages from all major carriers. Larger packages may incur handling/storage fees.

Payments & Policies

Do you require a contract?

No. Our services are month-to-month. Cancel anytime.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit/debit cards and recurring billing is set up automatically.

Do you offer refunds?

Because mail handling is a service, refunds are not typically offered, but you can cancel future billing anytime.

Security & Compliance

Is my mail secure?

Yes. All mail is kept in a locked, monitored facility, and only authorized staff handle it.

What is USPS Form 1583 and why is it required?

This form is required by the U.S. Postal Service to authorize a third party (XpressBox Solutions) to receive mail on your behalf.
